The Alabama Wildlife Federation has set up a Land Stewardship Assistance Program. This is an interconnected group of private landowners working with AWF to positively affect the quality of wildlife quality and populations across Alabama. Secondly it combines on-the-ground assistance from AWF Resource Stewardship Biologists, sharing between AWF biologists and landowners, and info sharing among landowners. The AWF Landowner Network membership is free to private landowners in Alabama.
The AWF Landowner Network app is available for download for Android and IoS. It harnesses electronic tools to facilitate efficient sharing of information, data gathering and reporting, submission of questions and/or photos, success stories and failures, and request technical assistance. To join the network contact the AWF Resource Stewardship Biologist in your area or Drew Arnold darnold@alabamawilflife.org or 334-399-1798.
